AgiBot claims autonomous reception, route guidance, obstacle avoidance and facial recognition; operating conditions, intervention and reliability are not established.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.
Complete one supported service task

Repeat with a second supported destination or input
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Restart the task and record all operator help
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Pick a square to see what each attempt will record.
We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What the evidence supports.
Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.
Capability
What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Reception and interaction. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Ultra sensing and hands differ from Lite. Advertised navigation needs site-level trials and an identified software package.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
Knowledge base, wake words, persona and voice can be customised; confirm software access and actual delivered scope.
Source 1AgiBot claims over a thousand deployments. On its product page, separate endurance labels include 2,000 hours, 5,100 hours walking and up to 1,300 hours continuous movement; the relationship between these labels and their test methods is unclear, and no independent validation was reviewed.
Source 1AgiBot reports CR, CE-MD, CE-RED and FCC markings or certifications; specific certificates, configurations and scope not checked and should not be treated as general safety approval.
Source 1The store comparison gives Ultra maximum speed 0.8 m/s and gradient 8% (4.57 degrees), conflicting with the maker page’s 1.2 m/s and 10 degrees.

Every source keeps its original check date. Manufacturer information, research configurations and independent observations have different limits.

Meet AGIBOT A2 Ultra
AgiBot identifies A2 Ultra and A2 Lite as separate configurations. Its comparison lists Ultra with 40 degrees of freedom, 7 per arm and 6 per dexterous hand; Lite is listed with 23 degrees of freedom and a slash in the dexterous-hand row. The slash does not establish what hands are physically supplied. The Lite store separately describes soft prosthetic hands. Do not transfer components or fitment without evidence.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
Confirm exact hardware and software, supported use, deployment and training, warranty, shipping, taxes and regional support with AgiBot. Camera, microphone, facial recognition, Wi-Fi, mobile networks and OTA raise questions about consent, data routes, retention and network dependence; these remain unverified. Check supervision, maintenance, safety procedures, subscription and spares before ordering.
Support, software and repairs
AGIBOT lists OTA updates, dance development and swarm-control software for this edition. The package includes a remote controller and wireless emergency stop. Its claimed update cadence is not a guaranteed software-support lifetime. Confirm training, warranty, replacement batteries, service territory and whether demonstrations require optional software. Ultra capabilities must not be assumed for Lite.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- No original footage directly reviewed; no assessment of control mode, performance or recovery.
- Maker product and store tables differ on top speed and gradient; endurance-test figures also differ.
- No verified independent evidence of reliable household assistance or domestic safety.
- No fitment or component interchangeability with A2 Lite established.
- The maker table uses a slash for Lite dexterous hands; it does not on its own prove the absence of a physical hand or define an interchangeable end effector.
