AGIBOT A3

A full-size humanoid for commercial performances and interaction. It suits managed demonstrations; an appearance in a shop is not proof of dependable independent work.

Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

How much do we really
know?

Separate our own tests from published claims and the limits of the evidence. The counts below describe records, not performance or confidence scores.

01 / The assessment

What the evidence supports.

Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.

Capability

What can it actually do?

The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.

Read the source-based assessment

Readiness

Could you use it in real life?

Intended use: Commercial movement and interaction. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. A maker-reported retail showcase is not independent reliability evidence. Establish which demonstrations require extra development.

A clear limit

This is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.

Know the exact robot

The name alone may not tell you which hardware, software or support you get. Keep editions and optional equipment separate.

Specifications and configuration

Model detail

Specifications and configuration

Figures below retain their source and configuration limits. Manufacturer specifications are not independent performance results.

Size and movement

173 cm, 55 kg, 31 active degrees of freedom; maker claims maximum walking speed 1.8 m/s and running speed 5 m/s.

Source 1
Power and endurance

12 kW instantaneous power; 1152 Wh dual battery, up to 10 hours in conventional scenarios and 10-second hot swap. Duration depends on workload; continuous operation requires swapping.

Source 1
Control and interaction

UWB positioning, dual-module 5G, voice and shoulder touch sensing listed by maker. The page says 100+ units in one place and up to 100 in its FAQ; confirm fleet capacity and conditions.

Commercial listing

No public price verified. Maker invites sales enquiries; configuration, delivery, import charges, training and warranty depend on order and destination.

Power

Dual batteries; up to ten hours nominal runtime and ten-second swapping are manufacturer claims.

The exact model and configuration

The exact model

Meet AGIBOT A3

A3 and A3 Ultra are separately named models. A3 is listed at 173 cm and 55 kg, with 31 active degrees of freedom. The maker says standard and developer A3 versions have the same hardware but different software access and support; confirm the ordered configuration. Do not infer parts interchangeability with Ultra.

04 / Living with it

Right robot, right expectations.

What ownership could involve

Confirm skill package, development access, task setup, operator training, site safety, connectivity, data routes, subscriptions, maintenance, warranty and UK delivery terms. The maker lists 5G and battery swapping; costs and operating requirements remain unverified.

Support, software and repairs

AGIBOT’s UK announcement identifies Scancom’s local channel, logistics and service role and a rental programme with local deployment support. This establishes a named route to enquire, not a guaranteed A3-specific hire price, stock level or warranty. Obtain the exact package, operator provision, insurance requirements and support terms. Keep A3 separate from A3 Ultra.

Questions still open

What needs checking before you decide.

  • No footage reviewed; task completion, control mode, recovery and reliability remain unassessed.
  • Manufacturer demonstrations may require secondary development; no general home assistance established.
  • No parts fitment or interchangeability with A3 Ultra established.
