Microbric — robots, ownership and questions

Microbric develops Edison education robots. Its official about-page extract describes an Adelaide head office, Australian design and support, and manufacture by a team in China. The exact V3 programming and repair requirements remain model-specific.

No verified manufacturer representative response has been published through this programme. Page claims and replies are reviewed before publication. ROBODROMO retains editorial control.

Microbric Edison V3

A rechargeable coding robot for school or home. Programming methods depend on your device.

Purchase stage: Not established. The selected source documents this exact model; a current order route, stock and customer deliveries were not established by this source-change triage.

Price, software and support notes

Price: Dated public research, retained on 1 November 2026: The robot arrives assembled with battery and USB-A cable. Allow 4–5 hours to recharge and check device ports, browser and adapters. The maker says USB programming uses a WebUSB-compatible browser; iPads use screen flashing for EdBlocks and EdScratch. Printable barcode and card coding can be used without a device or internet. Allow for a suitable matte surface, lighting and supervision. The maker’s Australian teacher guide lists AUD $66.63 including GST per V3 robot as at 28 October 2026; this is an Australian price, not a UK delivered quote or proof of stock. Confirm warranty, delivery and battery service in the intended region.

Existing dated public research text; no fresh single-unit quotation. Do not infer a price from a service fee, deposit, build cost, accessory or bundle.

Regional scope: Global reference only; intended-country orderability, final landed cost and local support are not established unless explicitly stated below.

Software: Programming: USB download through Chrome on supported computers/Android; screen-flash transfer on iOS.

Support: Edison publishes technical and teaching resources. V3 uses a rechargeable battery and USB transfer, so do not apply V2 battery or audio-cable instructions. Confirm classroom device compatibility, charger bundle, battery servicing and warranty. Its LEGO-compatible mounting points do not mean construction sets are included.
