Unitree lists H1 with 3D LiDAR and a depth camera, a replaceable 864 Wh battery and maximum joint torque of 360 Nm; its comparison table attributes approximately 360 Nm to the knee.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.
Complete one documented movement or manipulation task

We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What the evidence supports.
Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.
Capability
What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Full-size humanoid locomotion. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Hardware figures do not measure useful task completion without supervision. Runtime and current support remain material gaps.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
The maker states 3.3 m/s movement and separately labels above 5 m/s as potential. These are maker claims, not measured everyday performance.
Source 1Unitree lists separate H1 and H1-2 user and remote-control manuals, and H1/H1-2 tutorial topics. It explicitly labels H1-2 calibration and posture/movement; the index does not establish that every tutorial applies to both.
Source 2Check the original sources
Every source keeps its original check date. Manufacturer information, research configurations and independent observations have different limits.

Specifications and configuration
The figures and features below come from the named sources. They are not independent measurements. Optional hardware and conflicting revisions are kept separate.

|---|---|---|
| Sensing, battery and joint torque | Unitree lists H1 with 3D LiDAR and a depth camera, a replaceable 864 Wh battery and maximum joint torque of 360 Nm; its comparison table attributes approximately 360 Nm to the knee. | Source 1 |
| Speed claim | The maker states 3.3 m/s movement and separately labels above 5 m/s as potential. These are maker claims, not measured everyday performance. | Source 1 |
| Documentation boundary | Unitree lists separate H1 and H1-2 user and remote-control manuals, and H1/H1-2 tutorial topics. It explicitly labels H1-2 calibration and posture/movement; the index does not establish that every tutorial applies to both. | Source 2 |
An omitted measurement is unknown in this review, not zero or unsupported. Check the exact hardware edition and documentation before ordering or designing around it.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
A practical evaluation starts with a defined research task, trained operators, clear space and a safe way to stop and recover the robot. Ask which arms, end effectors, software and control equipment are actually included. An optional dexterous hand must not be assumed to be fitted. Battery capacity alone does not establish operating time. Check maintenance, spares and local support before committing resources. Record every human intervention and reset during trials; a successful staged movement is not the same as a repeatable autonomous task. Unitree notes its products continue to change, so supplied hardware may differ from the website. No observed performance grade follows from the specification. A repeatable trial should report the software build, operator role and failed attempts alongside successes.
Support, software and repairs
Unitree explicitly warns that the shipped appearance and specifications can change. Obtain the exact revision, controller/hand configuration, development documentation, battery handling instructions and warranty/repair route. The product page does not establish an unattended consumer use case or a guaranteed update-support period.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- No original footage or independent repeated-use trial assessed.
- No verified operating time, household task reliability or current regional supply.
- Video version numbers do not establish hardware revision or control mode.
