The H2 Plus parameter table lists optional Sharpa Wave hands with 22 active degrees of freedom per hand and optional wrist cameras; supplied kit and hand configuration are unverified.

A full-size humanoid for researchers building movement and handling tasks. Hands are optional, and extra computing hardware does not make it an independent household assistant.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.
Complete one documented movement or manipulation task

Repeat the task from the same starting setup
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.

We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What the evidence supports.
Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.
Capability
What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Humanoid manipulation development. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Optional hands and computing must be matched to the tested package. Promotional hand claims cannot define base capability.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
Unitree lists secondary development and a 12-month warranty, subject to its manual and warranty terms. Some sample functions remain in development and testing.
Source 2Unitree describes Isaac TeleOp, GR00T, simulation and middleware workflows. These are development tools, not proof that a supplied robot autonomously performs a household task.
Source 1Unitree’s shop asks customers to contact sales and says customs duties are excluded; the final configuration, price and UK landed cost are not verified.
Source 3The maker promotes 75 total body-and-hand degrees of freedom. Adding 31 body joints plus two 22-DOF hands also totals 75, but the page does not establish that this interpretation or both hands apply to the supplied kit.

Every source keeps its original check date. Manufacturer information, research configurations and independent observations have different limits.

Model detail
Specifications and configuration
Figures below retain their source and configuration limits. Manufacturer specifications are not independent performance results.
1,820 × 456 × 218 mm; about 70 kg with battery
Source 131 joint motors; 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 waist and 2 head
Source 1About 3 hours, maker estimate; operating conditions unspecified. Battery capacity is not established in the retained H2 Plus source.
Source 2Rated approximately 7 kg; peak approximately 15 kg, subject to configuration and posture
Source 11,820 × 456 × 218 mm; approximately 70 kg before configuration confirmation.
Manufacturer sourceJetson T5000 with 128 GB unified memory; 2,070 sparse FP4 TFLOPS claimed.
Manufacturer source15 Ah / 0.972 kWh; about three hours.
Manufacturer source7 kg rated and 15 kg peak payload.
Manufacturer sourceOptional Sharpa Wave hands: 22 active joints per hand.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
Confirm exact hand and camera options, software versions, SDK and model licences, compute and simulator dependencies, training data, network routes, controller, setup, maintenance, transport, warranty and UK support. Unitree asks users to keep a sufficient distance from the robot; it does not quantify the distance in the retained passage. Obtain a task-specific safety assessment and payload-versus-posture limits. Keep FP4 sparse compute figures separate from other numerical precisions when comparing platforms; the number alone does not measure task performance.
Support, software and repairs
The detailed table marks wrist cameras and hands optional although headline copy describes them together. Confirm the purchased package and final weight. Thirty-one body joints plus two 22-joint hands gives the advertised 75 total only with those hands. Twelve-month warranty is listed; obtain service, spare-part and developer terms. Component grip ratings are not robot payload.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- No footage watched; control mode, attempt counts and reliability unknown.
- Promotional hand claims and optional component table require kit-level reconciliation.
- No part compatibility or shared revision inferred from H2.
- No public transaction price or UK delivery terms verified.
