Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.

We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.
Capability
What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Choreographed event movement. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Remote and group-controlled performance is a legitimate use. Conflicting body and load figures prevent a precise configuration verdict.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
Group control and choreography are supported; an optional VR tool with supported kit and software records and edits custom actions without coding.
Source 2The store comparison lists perception, speech and light-duty operation as not supported; a speaker and wireless remote are listed.
Source 2The store differs from the maker comparison on Lite weight, arm load, CPU and standing endurance. These are unresolved source conflicts, not verified revision differences.

Specifications and configuration
Figures below retain their source and configuration limits. Manufacturer specifications are not independent performance results.
Maker comparison approximately 64 kg; confirm configuration.
Source 123: one neck, five per arm and six per leg; no dexterous hand listed.
Source 1Maximum speed 0.8 m/s; maker comparison approximately 2 kg arm load.
Source 116-core CPU and Wi-Fi in maker comparison.
Source 1US $44,560 maker store listing; shipping $500–$3,000 actual amount applies, duties and taxes extra. UK supply and final landed price unverified.
Source 2Store captured on 27 October 2026 lists 63 kg, 1.5 kg single-arm load excluding the end effector and 16-core CPU. Its feature panel separately says 14 cores and approximately two hours standing; its comparison says 4 h 35 min standing. The discrepancies and test conditions remain unresolved.
Source 2169 × 75 × 30 cm (H × W × L).
Manufacturer sourceApproximately 64 kg; 23 total degrees of freedom and five per arm. No dexterous hand listed.
Manufacturer source0.8 m/s maximum walking speed; approximately 2 kg maximum arm load; peak knee torque 270 Nm.
Manufacturer source14.4 Ah; walking endurance over 1.5 hours; standing 4.5 hours. Charging approximately two hours; fast charging and battery replacement supported.
Manufacturer source16-core CPU; the comparison does not list the Ultra’s LiDAR, cameras or Jetson board for Lite.
Manufacturer sourceWi-Fi.

The exact model
Meet AGIBOT A2 Lite
A2 Lite is a separately listed configuration from A2 Ultra. The maker comparison lists 23 degrees of freedom and uses a slash for dexterous hands and several sensors; the meaning of that symbol is not independently established. The store calls its hands soft prosthetic and marks perception, speech and light-duty operation as unsupported. Black Knight Edition is mentioned without a clear configuration mapping. Do not infer parts interchangeability.

Setup, support and daily use
04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
Confirm exact revision, included versus optional routines, VR kit, software licences, training, delivery, support and warranty. The maker lists Wi-Fi, OTA updates, remote control and a wireless emergency stop. Connectivity dependence, data handling, subscriptions and maintenance are unverified. The store lists taxes and import charges separately; no verified UK offer. A trained operator and safe controlled performance space may be needed; requirements need maker confirmation.
Support, software and repairs
AGIBOT lists OTA updates, dance development and swarm-control software for this edition. The package includes a remote controller and wireless emergency stop. Its claimed update cadence is not a guaranteed software-support lifetime. Confirm training, warranty, replacement batteries, service territory and whether demonstrations require optional software. Ultra capabilities must not be assumed for Lite.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- No footage reviewed; control mode, task success and recovery remain unassessed.
- Maker pages conflict on weight, standing endurance, arm load and CPU; no revision explanation verified.
- No evidence of independent domestic task use or general home assistance.
- No fitment or component interchangeability with A2 Ultra established.
