AGIBOT claims gait adaptation and lists actions, but does not establish independent task success or control conditions.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.

Stop at a marked point on command
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.

We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What the evidence supports.
Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.
Capability
What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Remote movement or SDK development. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Pro entertainment and Edu development are different uses. Retain the conflicting slope figures rather than choosing the larger value.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
Check the original sources
Every source keeps its original check date. Manufacturer information, research configurations and independent observations have different limits.

Specifications and configuration
Figures below retain their source and configuration limits. Manufacturer specifications are not independent performance results.
Both listed approximately 635 × 360 × 420 mm standing and 15.5 kg including battery.
Source 1Both listed 4.6 Ah, 43.2 V; 1–2 hours endurance and approximately one hour charging from 10% to 90%, dependent on conditions.
Source 1Pro: secondary development unsupported and no expansion interfaces. Edu: supported, with Ethernet, USB, power, SBUS and UART.

Meet AGIBOT D1 Pro / D1 Edu
AGIBOT names D1 Pro and D1 Edu separately and provides a two-column comparison. They are quadrupeds distinct from D1 Max. Verify variant and revision; no D1 Max attributes or fitment transferred.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
The maker lists robot, charger and handheld remote; confirm packing list, charging dock, setup, maintenance, spare parts and warranty exclusions. Edu development requires appropriate skills and may need extra modules. Both list camera and real-time image transmission: connectivity, storage, data routes, privacy, subscriptions and security update terms require confirmation. Store lists customer-paid shipping, duties and clearance; confirm delivery region and support. Do not ride the robot: the store FAQ says it is unsuitable for passengers. The store FAQ limits manual support to hardware warranty and says users must resolve technical issues themselves. Read the named Technical Capability Confirmation Agreement before purchase; its full terms have not been reviewed.
Support, software and repairs
The SDK and payload-development route belong to Edu. AGIBOT describes URDF, Isaac Sim and MuJoCo support, with camera/LiDAR/RTK and communication-module compatibility; compatible does not mean included. Confirm the edition’s exposed control interfaces, battery spares, warranty and repair destination before ordering.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- Maker product page lists maximum slope as 40° for both, while store comparison lists 30° for both; retain conflict and seek clarification.
- No footage directly reviewed; control mode, success and recovery unassessed.
- No independent everyday-use evidence or verified UK delivered offer.
- No interchangeability with D1 Max established.
