Enabot’s support FAQ checked says the toy and treat modules are separate purchases from the basic storage-module version. Check the actual bundle before assigning either function.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.

We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.

What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Remote modular pet interaction. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. The explicit lack of fall prevention is a material deployment limit. Module-dependent play is not dependable feeding or supervision.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
The same FAQ says PetPal has obstacle avoidance but no fall prevention, cannot climb stairs and cannot patrol a user-designated route.
Source 1The maker permits suitable dry food or freeze-dried treats smaller than 12 mm and excludes wet food and long jerky strips. It says the feeding module can be removed for cleaning.
Source 1The UK support-period table inspected on 26 October does not list ROLA PetPal; its listed ROLA Mini date cannot be transferred.
Source 2Enabot describes Cloud+ scheduled recording and playback, event alerts with timestamps and automatic 30-second highlights. Subscription tiers, price and actual availability require confirmation.
Source 3Enabot’s UK listing states a one-year warranty, 16–256 GB expanded memory support and a 32 GB SD card with the standard version. It displays an asterisked UK unavailability notice against Snack Feeding & AI Playing; the exact scope needs confirmation.
Source 4Enabot UK lists the ROLA app for iOS and Android for PetPal.

An omitted measurement is unknown in this review, not zero or unsupported. Check the exact hardware edition and documentation before ordering or designing around it.
Basic package has the main unit and storage module. Interactive toys and the treat dispenser are separate purchases.
Manufacturer sourceMaker says it cannot follow a designated patrol route or climb stairs and has no fall-prevention feature.
Manufacturer sourceDispenser supports dry food/freeze-dried treats below 12 mm; wet food and long jerky strips are unsuitable.

Meet Enabot ROLA PetPal
This guide covers ROLA PetPal. The basic storage module, Interactive Toys and Treat Dispenser must be distinguished. ROLA Mini is a different product, and a redirected regional shop page is not evidence for PetPal’s current specification or stock.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
Keep the route physically separate from stairs and other drops. Before relying on an accessory, check the exact module, food dimensions and cleaning procedure against its manual. Evaluate dispensing consistency and blockages while someone is present; this review contains no measured feeding success rate. Cloud recording and event-history plans are another ownership choice, so establish what works without a subscription and what happens if the service ends. Camera access should be limited to intended users. The UK product listing advertises a one-year warranty; exclusions, repair route, exact bundle and current price remain unverified.
Support, software and repairs
Enabot provides firmware, cleaning and member-sharing tutorials. Cloud+ is a separate paid service for recording/playback, alerts and edited highlights, with resolution/history varying by plan. Confirm current regional charges and what works without a subscription. Keep the robot away from unguarded drops; obstacle avoidance does not imply fall prevention.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- The retained PetPal FAQ was supplied by the search index; a fresh direct request redirected to a Japanese store dominated by other models. Current wording still needs a directly readable manual or support page.
- Cloud-plan prices and feature columns were not adopted from the flattened extract because the tier mapping requires verification.
- Neither pet recognition accuracy nor treat delivery reliability has been independently assessed.
- Maker says no fall prevention and no designated-route patrol. Base storage module does not provide the separate treat or toy functions. UK listing has an unresolved starred unavailability warning; do not promise these functions in a UK offer.
