The maker’s comparison lists two OLED eyes, 512 GB storage and a typical cycle of 30–45 minutes operating followed by 15–30 minutes charging.

An expressive companion for households willing to pay ongoing service costs. Regional support needs checking.
Recorded specifications, with their source limits. These are not our measurements. See all specifications and configurations
The Japanese page captured on 26 October 2026 listed a ¥599,500 body price plus continuing service costs and different delivery estimates by colour. An older indexed result showed ¥577,500; neither is a current quotation.
A recorded offer can change. Check its source date below and confirm the exact package, delivery region and total cost with the seller.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.

We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What the evidence supports.
Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.
Capability
What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Mobile companion interaction. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Assess recurring service and supported region alongside charging and interaction. Dated Japanese offers do not establish global ownership.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
The Japanese page captured on 26 October 2026 listed a ¥599,500 body price plus continuing service costs and different delivery estimates by colour. An older indexed result showed ¥577,500; neither is a current quotation.
Source 1The international pricing page directs buyers to regional routes; do not infer worldwide delivery from the Japanese shop.
Source 2Japan 3.0 monthly plans are listed at ¥9,900 minimum, ¥12,980 basic and ¥19,800 full cover; the page also lists a separate perpetual software-use plan, mainly for businesses. The pricing page carries an expired promotion, so reconfirm current rates.
Source 3For the monthly plan described in the retained maker FAQ, the maker says cancellation stops LOVOT and deletes memory and backup data; a temporary suspension option exists. Do not assume this applies unchanged to perpetual arrangements.
Source 4For 3.0, the maker says contract information must refresh every 30 days or it stops; after initial internet verification, a QR code in the app can refresh the contract without connecting the robot itself.
Source 5Japan-spec overseas-use terms say Japanese-language support and no repairs outside Japan; access to company internet services may be needed for contract verification. These terms are maker policy, not a legal conclusion.
Source 6For 3.0 the maker estimates usage-sharing at several to 10 GB/month, backup hundreds of KB to several GB/month, and updates around 5 GB each; settings can disable these categories.

LOVOT 3.0 is explicitly distinguished from 2.0 on the maker’s Japanese page captured on 26 October 2026. This profile must not inherit older model electronics, camera arrangements or prices.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
Check whether the buyer’s country has an authorised service route, what a service cancellation does to functionality, and how maintenance is arranged. A household trial should cover floor layout, interaction with people and pets, docking interruptions and normal downtime. Manufacturer satisfaction figures need their survey method before being treated as reliability evidence.
Support, software and repairs
GROOVE X separates the robot purchase from monthly service costs and offers maintenance/repair through its LOVOT service operation. The Japanese page also lists paid setup support and owner assistance. These Japanese arrangements do not establish UK coverage. Confirm the selected care plan, international use, repair shipping and data/service continuity before importing.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- This is a dated Japanese offer observation, not a global quote or guaranteed delivery.
- No independent repeat-use trial assessed for this profile.
