KEENON describes up to four adjustable, independently accessible compartments, automatic doors and ventilation, and says the arrangement serves needs at up to four locations. This does not establish sequential deliveries or access-control security.

A hotel delivery robot with enclosed compartments. It suits planned room-delivery routes; lift connections, privacy and reliable access need checking in the actual building.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.
Complete one supported service task
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Repeat with a second supported destination or input
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Restart the task and record all operator help
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Pick a square to see what each attempt will record.
We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What the evidence supports.
Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.

What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Hotel room delivery with lift integration. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Lift compatibility and failover are building-specific. A lift claim is not proof of successful delivery in any hotel.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
KEENON says W3 uses an IoT-connected lift for multi-floor deliveries and uses 3D obstacle avoidance. Compatibility with a particular lift, security system and building is not established.
Source 1The maker lists 45.9 × 54.9 × 108.1 cm, 48 kg, a 20 kg total load, 70 cm minimum passage, up to 12 hours battery and 6.5 hours charging.

Every source keeps its original check date. Manufacturer information, research configurations and independent observations have different limits.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
Start with the building, not the brochure: confirm whether the existing lift controller can interface with W3, who supplies and maintains the integration, and what happens if a lift or network fails. Check how destinations are assigned, guests are notified, compartments are opened, and missed collections are handled. Confirm access controls and data retention before describing any delivery as private. Staff still load, clean, supervise and retrieve the robot when needed. Ask for a site survey and itemised local terms for mapping, installation, lift interface, connectivity, service and battery replacement. UK price and support have not been verified.
Support, software and repairs
Elevator use requires compatible building integration; the listed E-Box and charging equipment should be confirmed in the quotation. Request mapping, staff training, door/lift permissions, network requirements, cleaning procedures and a local repair SLA. The product page does not provide a universal warranty duration or guarantee autonomous operation in every building.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- Lift use depends on site integration; no compatibility or failover evidence for a specific building.
- Compartment access controls, privacy and hygiene have not been independently assessed.
- No independent repeated-use evidence or footage watched; UK availability and support unknown.
