The 5-W Advanced manual lists 2.1 m, 200 kg, a standard two-finger gripper and 36 total degrees of freedom.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.
Move one suitable object between two marked positions
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Repeat with a second supported object
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Return to the starting position and repeat the sequence
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Pick a square to see what each attempt will record.
We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What the evidence supports.
Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.
Capability
What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Wheeled dual-arm development. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Advanced and Max B hardware must remain separate; a wheeled base must not be credited with walking.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
The separate Max B manual lists 2.2 m, 245 kg and standard dexterous hands; LiDAR, microphones and inspection equipment are described as optional.
Source 3The Chinese-language Max B manual lists a 50 Ah plus 6 Ah battery, AGX Orin computer, and automatic or manual charging and manual battery replacement. It marks the microphone array, LiDAR, speakers and inspection equipment as optional. Capacity is not a verified runtime; confirm the delivered configuration.

Every source keeps its original check date. Manufacturer information, research configurations and independent observations have different limits.

Meet Leju KUAVO 5-W
The proposed name KUAVO 5-W matches Leju’s product index. Its 5-W manual describes a wheeled arm platform, separate from the legged KUAVO 5. Advanced and Max B are distinct documented configurations; their numbers should not be combined into one generic specification. The precise legal manufacturer and supplied revision still need confirmation.
Further assessment notes
Setup, support and daily use
04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
Specify the named edition, lift and wheel configuration, grippers or hands, sensor options and computing package. Plan for moving and commissioning a heavy machine, space, charging, safeguarding, specialist support and service access. Ask for the exact software, site integration, remote connectivity, data routes and parts arrangements. No public price or UK offer was verified. The Advanced manual lists automatic or manual charging and manual battery replacement; Max B also lists automatic and manual charging and manual battery replacement, but its battery capacity and computer differ. Confirm the charging equipment and battery service procedure in the actual offer. Max B lists LiDAR and microphone array as options, so do not assume these are included.
Support, software and repairs
Use the exact edition’s electrical-interface guide and commissioning procedures. Battery ratings refer to separate listed subsystems, not a single invented capacity. Confirm end effectors, footprint, permitted payload, runtime, software package, warranty and service contract. This heavy wheeled platform should not inherit bipedal KUAVO 5 dimensions or operating assumptions.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- Advanced and Max B specifications are edition-specific and must not be merged.
- A wheeled base is not evidence of legged walking.
- Navigation, manipulation and endurance were not independently tested.
- No footage was watched.
- The Advanced and Max B manuals each list a 36-DoF total; the relationship to individual component rows requires confirmation and is not independently derived.
