test track
Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.
Perform one documented movement sequence
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Stop the sequence on command
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Restart and repeat the same sequence
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Pick a square to see what each attempt will record.
We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What the evidence supports.
Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.
Capability
What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: App-controlled transformation and routines. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Assess the collectible with its app and space requirements. Entertainment programming is a valid use without general autonomy.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
Check the original sources
Every source keeps its original check date. Manufacturer information, research configurations and independent observations have different limits.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
Use the correct charger and a clear, smooth area for conversion and driving. The US store advises checking Bluetooth, app permissions and whether another phone is connected when pairing fails. Noise can affect voice command recognition; a stuck joint or disconnected cable may need troubleshooting or support. Confirm the app’s current compatibility, replacement battery, regional repair and privacy terms. The US warranty lists 12 months for named components, subject to its policy; do not assume UK terms. The optional trailer is a separate product. Keep the unit away from edges and do not force moving joints.
Support, software and repairs
Robosen provides manuals, registration, firmware/download, warranty and RMA routes. Match Flagship rather than Elite or another Optimus release. Confirm phone compatibility, charger/battery replacement and regional warranty. Transformation needs clear space and the instructed accessory configuration; avoid forcing joints or treating a collectible as a general-purpose humanoid.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- US maker store showed $999 excluding tax and sold out on 28 October 2026; UK availability, tax, delivery and warranty are not verified.
- The US store’s retained passage describes two programming modes; current features and any differences between editions or software versions remain unverified.
- No original footage or independent conversion, walking or reliability assessment was reviewed.
- A transforming licensed collectible addresses home entertainment and collector interest beyond coding-floor robots.
