Product page describes a Master Arm teleoperation device, remote-control app and data-labelling platform. These support development; they do not prove autonomous manipulation.
Source 1ROBROS IGRIS-C
A humanoid with public programming documentation for developers. It suits technical projects; hardware revision and handling needs matter before comparing the robot's advertised abilities.
Recorded specifications, with their source limits. These are not our measurements. See all specifications and configurations

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.
Complete one documented movement or manipulation task
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Repeat the task from the same starting setup
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Record all help needed to start and finish
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Pick a square to see what each attempt will record.
We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What the evidence supports.
Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.

What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Humanoid developer workflows. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Resolve hardware revision and the conflicting mass before handling or performance comparisons. A class label is not safety certification.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
June report on the maker site describes an industrial focus and a planned C+ upgrade with 15–20 kg combined-arm payload. It does not establish that the upgrade shipped or applies to this candidate.
Source 3The v2.1.1 developer guide lists a wireless emergency stop, battery, charger and Master Arm in its package, with a hoist sold separately. Inclusion in a present offer is unverified.

Every source keeps its original check date. Manufacturer information, research configurations and independent observations have different limits.

Model detail
Specifications and configuration
Figures below retain their source and configuration limits. Manufacturer specifications are not independent performance results.
Developer v2.1.1: 1540 × 440 × 300 mm and 60 kg. Compare the separately cited product-page mass; revision/configuration mapping is unverified.
Source 2Developer guide: 53 total DoF, including 11 per hand (six active and five passive). The separately cited product breakdown uses six per hand; matching revisions are not established.
Source 2Guide: 17,000 mAh at 48 V, maximum 6 kg using both arms. Do not transfer the C+ forecast payload.
Source 256 kg, versus 60 kg in developer v2.1.1; configuration mapping unresolved.
Source 1The product page lists 43 when its component entries are added, including six per hand. This differs from the developer guide and does not establish identical configurations.
Source 1154 cm; 56 kg.
Manufacturer source48 V/17,000 mAh; direct charge in approximately 2.5 hours.
Manufacturer sourceSeven per arm, six per leg, three waist, two neck and six per hand.
Manufacturer sourceLinux, Cyclone DDS, C++ and Python APIs.
Manufacturer sourceStereo RGB/depth vision, IMU and encoders.

Meet ROBROS IGRIS-C
Keep IGRIS-C separate from the announced IGRIS-C+ upgrade. Current product and developer pages give different weights. The apparent joint-count difference partly reflects active versus passive hand joints, not necessarily a different robot.

Setup, support and daily use
04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
Confirm supplied revision, hoist and commissioning needs, safety procedures, operator training, software version, data handling, maintenance, warranty and regional service. The product lists South Korean availability with overseas enquiries welcomed; this is not a verified UK delivered offer. No public price verified.
Support, software and repairs
ROBROS lists South Korea availability and welcomes global enquiries; that is not confirmed UK delivery. The platform includes teleoperation/data tools as described, but confirm the purchased package, software access, battery spares and warranty. “Industrial Standard Class A” and collaborative-mode claims do not establish application-specific UK compliance or unrestricted safe contact.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- 56 kg versus 60 kg remains unresolved; do not choose a convenient figure.
- The product’s Industrial Standard Class A wording is not a verified general safety certification.
- Safety Guidelines link failed to fetch during this review; do not claim the operating safety procedure has been checked.
- No footage watched, task trials or component interchangeability assessed.
