Sunday says its beta is launching late 2026 and that Memo is not yet available for purchase.
Source 1Sunday Memo
A wheeled home robot inviting beta applications. It interests early adopters, but the maker says it is not yet for sale and chore reliability remains unproven.
Recorded specifications, with their source limits. These are not our measurements. See all specifications and configurations
A prospective founding family should get the beta’s eligibility, duration, price or deposit, return conditions, maintenance responsibilities and insurance in writing. Check whether the robot remains Sunday’s property and what happens if the programme ends. Ask exactly what camera and audio data is retained, who can access it, whether remote assistance is possible, and whether consent can be withdrawn. Clarify the dishwasher, table, glassware and kitchen layout needed for the published demonstrations. Request repeated trials including time, breakages, resets, preparation and human assistance, with videos viewed in full. Sunday says its current hand-built unit costs about $20,000, but expressly says that is not expected to be the retail price; neither that figure nor a beta application is a purchase offer. No independently checked customer delivery, UK availability or final ownership terms were found in the captured source.
A recorded offer can change. Check its source date below and confirm the exact package, delivery region and total cost with the seller.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.

We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.

What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.

Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Proposed autonomous household chores. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Beta applications are not proof of shipped units. Autonomous labels on unwatched clips remain maker claims.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
Sunday claims Memo can clear dishes, make espresso and handle socks, while acknowledging that reliability and generalisation are still being improved.
Source 1Sunday says its developers collect training data using gloves, and that Memo does not need teleoperation in the user’s home to learn.
Source 1Sunday says Memo rests at four feet for most tasks and can reach seven feet with its arms. This is the maker’s reach description, not a chassis height, an independently measured result or a safety assessment.

Every source keeps its original check date. Manufacturer information, research configurations and independent observations have different limits.

Specifications and configuration
The maker documents the following hardware or operating details. A complete numerical datasheet remains unconfirmed; these are not independent measurements.
| Item | Documented detail | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Working height and reach | The maker says Memo normally rests at four feet for tasks, can lower to the ground and can reach seven feet with its arms. These are claims for the development platform, not independently measured dimensions. |
Maker source 31 Oct 2026 |
| Movement limits | Sunday describes software speed limits and training at about half a human’s natural pace. No absolute speed or standardised test is given; this is not a safety guarantee. |

Meet Sunday Memo
Memo is the robot; Sunday’s Skill Capture Glove is a separate training-data collection device. Do not confuse shipment of gloves with shipment of Memo robots. The page captured on 27 October 2026 says a late-2026 beta is planned, not that homes have received a production model.

Support, software and repairs
Sunday describes autonomous demonstrations, several explicitly shown at accelerated playback. These are examples rather than a guaranteed list of household tasks. Confirm beta geography, pricing, dimensions, battery/runtime, service access and warranty. “24/7” language does not establish battery endurance. Verify privacy and remote-assistance terms for the actual beta contract.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- The site labels video clips autonomous, but the footage was not examined.
- Planned beta is not proof of shipped consumer units.
- Manufacturer safety and privacy descriptions remain untested here.
