UBTECH Cruzr S2

A full-size wheeled humanoid for business handling projects. It suits development teams; advertised object-handling functions do not establish dependable operation at a customer's site.

Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

How much do we really
know?

Separate our own tests from published claims and the limits of the evidence. The counts below describe records, not performance or confidence scores.

01 / The assessment

What the evidence supports.

Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.

Capability

What can it actually do?

The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.

Read the source-based assessment

Readiness

Could you use it in real life?

Intended use: Enterprise mobile manipulation. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. A checked component diagram supports hardware description, not task success. Enterprise deployment needs application-level evidence.

A clear limit

This is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.

Know the exact robot

The name alone may not tell you which hardware, software or support you get. Keep editions and optional equipment separate.

04 / Living with it

Right robot, right expectations.

What ownership could involve

Confirm configuration, software access, integration, human supervision, safety measures, connectivity, data handling, maintenance, warranty and local support. No public price or UK availability verified.

Support, software and repairs

Cruzr S2 is a wheeled manipulation platform, distinct from the older reception-focused Cruzr. The reviewed page does not expose the complete dimensions, battery or warranty. Obtain a configuration sheet, end-effector details, SDK, commissioning and service agreement. Precision and collaboration claims need task-specific testing rather than being treated as universal guarantees.

Questions still open

What needs checking before you decide.

  • No footage reviewed; task completion, control mode and recovery remain unassessed.
  • The official component diagram was visually checked on 31 October 2026. Complete dimensions, battery and runtime remain unverified.
  • Maker safety and accuracy claims are not an independent test or general certification.
  • No home use or parts interchangeability with other Cruzr or Walker models established.
