Yukai describes responses to petting and surrounding sounds, together with a heartbeat effect. Its FAQ explicitly says Petit Qoobo does not understand words.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.

We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What the evidence supports.
Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.
Capability
What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Touch and sound-triggered tail response. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. A narrow tactile companion can succeed without conversation. Comfort and durability need their own evidence.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
The FAQ says it must not be sat on and is not for infants; children and people requiring nursing care should be accompanied.

Petit Qoobo is the smaller model, distinct from standard Qoobo. Its listed sound response and heartbeat effect should not be transferred to the larger model without its own source.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
Check whether the size and weight suit where the robot will be held or carried. The useful test is how its response feels over repeated sessions, including quiet rooms and background noise. Battery charging and care of the fur are ordinary ownership work; use the model’s cleaning instructions instead of treating it as a washable cushion. A person’s enjoyment is a valid observation, but it is different from evidence of a lasting health benefit. Confirm the actual seller’s stock, charger, repair process and warranty in your country before making a purchase decision.
Support, software and repairs
Petit Qoobo is the smaller model. It does not understand spoken words. Do not sit or stand on the body or tail. The maker provides cleaning guidance and a support/manual route; confirm local repair and battery servicing. Overseas shipping is by enquiry, not proof of support in every country.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- No battery, durability, sound-response or user-comfort trial has been assessed.
- The retained older indexed price differs from the newly opened store price; neither is a fixed global price.
- No clinical outcome is inferred from the maker’s emotional or therapeutic language.
