GAC describes a variable wheel-leg structure with three modes, and claims recovery after a fall. The source does not give task trial results or operating conditions.
Source 1GoMate Mini
A robot with wheels and legs for commercial development. It suits business teams; maker-reported deployments do not show how reliably it will complete a buyer's tasks.
Recorded specifications, with their source limits. These are not our measurements. See all specifications and configurations

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.
Complete one supported service task

Repeat with a second supported destination or input
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Restart the task and record all operator help
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Pick a square to see what each attempt will record.
We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.

Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Wheel-legged commercial service. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Company deployment reports do not disclose independent task reliability. Exact service and support conditions are still needed.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
On 11 August 2026 GAC reported seven GoMate Mini projects, nearly 50 units deployed, a longest project running 12 months, approximately 63,000 km and 189,000 on-site anomaly responses. The company does not provide a task-specific independent method, denominator, intervention rate or breakdown sufficient to grade performance.
Source 1GAC describes factory, commercial complex and rail-transit applications, including inspection and guidance. These claims do not establish consumer purchase or home use.

Meet GoMate Mini
GoMate Mini is the fourth-generation model. GAC introduced the separate full-size GoMate as its third-generation robot in December 2024. Do not transfer specifications or control claims from GoMate to Mini without model-specific evidence. GAC says Huilun was established in February 2026 to take over robotics development and commercialisation.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
For a commercial deployment, request the exact supplied configuration and contract, route mapping and connectivity needs, operator staffing, alert handling, escalation and recovery procedures, data retention and access, spare batteries and parts, safety documentation, training and maintenance support. Verify local availability, privacy compliance and total operating cost. None of these arrangements is established by the source.
Support, software and repairs
GAC identifies Guangdong Huilun as its spun-out robotics business and describes commercial projects in China. Those deployments do not establish UK stock, local service or an open SDK. Request the exact Mini datasheet, operating mode restrictions, commissioning, warranty and parts agreement; larger GoMate specifications must not be transferred.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- Commercial use is reported by the company; independent operating evidence and customer support conditions are missing.
- No public price or verified UK availability.
- No direct footage review and no task grade.
- Consumer or home suitability has not been established; scope decision required.
- The reported project totals do not identify firmware, hardware revisions or the portion attributable to each task. An anomaly response is not a measured autonomous success rate.
