Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.

Keep the conditions visible

Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

How much do we really
know?

Separate our own tests from published claims and the limits of the evidence. The counts below describe records, not performance or confidence scores.

01 / The assessment

What the evidence supports.

Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.

Capability

What can it actually do?

The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.

Read the source-based assessment

Readiness

Could you use it in real life?

Intended use: Proposed household tasks. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. The old preorder wording conflicts with later site terms. Neither establishes fulfilment or tested household skills.

A clear limit

This is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.

Know the exact robot

The name alone may not tell you which hardware, software or support you get. Keep editions and optional equipment separate.

Meet Clone Alpha

Clone Alpha is the named limited Alpha edition, not a generic Clone hand, torso or development prototype. No delivered hardware revision or software configuration has been verified.

04 / Living with it

Right robot, right expectations.

What ownership could involve

No public price, delivery schedule, supported region, installation requirements, remote assistance, data handling, maintenance or repair terms have been verified for an Alpha customer. Seek an itemised offer and contract, exact supplied skills and configurations, support provider and safety procedures before relying on it. Clone's terms identify Clone Incorporated and its Polish subsidiary, and say the relevant counterparty depends on the transaction; they do not establish a customer support arrangement. Any future review should show the whole task, including preparation, refills, failed attempts and remote help. A montage of household actions cannot establish that a buyer receives a robot able to complete the same job.

Support, software and repairs

The page still refers to preorders in 2025 and lists ambitious household skills without a current shipping or support commitment. Do not present those as demonstrated delivered functions. Warranty, consumables, hydraulic-system servicing, replacement parts, updates, UK eligibility and delivery status need written confirmation; the page alone is insufficient to recommend purchase.

Questions still open

What needs checking before you decide.

  • Household skills are maker claims, not observed tasks.
  • A 2025 preorder statement and later site terms refer to different dates; neither establishes active ordering or delivery today.
  • No assessed footage, independent ownership evidence or cleared product image.
