Enabot advertises app-controlled movement, obstacle avoidance, motion alerts and automatic recharging. These are manufacturer descriptions, not results of our own route or docking tests.

A moving camera for remote family and pet check-ins. It suits accessible indoor floors; reaching rooms and returning to charge depend on the layout of your home.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.
Connect a call and check two-way audio
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Check video during a supported remote session
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Reconnect and repeat the session
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Pick a square to see what each attempt will record.
We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

What the evidence supports.
Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.
Capability
What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Mobile calls and return to charge. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Maker comparisons against SE do not measure SE 2 reliability independently. Resolve the unclear clearance wording.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
The product page lists two-way audio, app messages read aloud, night vision and multi-user/access controls. The feather accessory for pet play is sold separately.
Source 2The UK security-support table inspected on 26 October lists EBO SE but not EBO SE 2. A support end date for this exact model remains unestablished; absence from this table does not prove no support.
Source 3Check the original sources
Every source keeps its original check date. Manufacturer information, research configurations and independent observations have different limits.

Source 12K; no image-quality or low-light performance measured
Source 22K camera and two-way audio; remote control through the app.
Manufacturer sourceSix-millimetre obstacle clearance; automatic recharge and obstacle avoidance advertised.
Manufacturer sourceDual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi 6.
Manufacturer sourceMotion alerts, recording history and app-to-robot spoken messages described.

Meet Enabot EBO SE 2
This page covers EBO SE 2. The maker lists EBO SE separately and compares performance against that older model. Do not inherit the older SE’s security-support date or an accessory bundle without checking the exact order.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
Begin with a practical floor plan: thresholds, loose cords, rugs, charging position and the places the camera must reach. A successful trip on one clear floor would not establish whole-home reliability. Review who can access live audio/video and how to revoke access before sharing the robot with family. For pet use, assess the animal’s reaction and the optional accessory separately. Current delivered price, regional warranty, storage charges and security-update duration are still open; none should be inferred from a Buy Now button.
Support, software and repairs
The page compares SE 2 with the older SE using laboratory percentage claims; these are not independent reliability results. Confirm app compatibility, storage/subscription charges, update period, privacy controls and wheel/track spares for SE 2 specifically. Its “9 cm ground clearance” wording appears to describe fitting under furniture, so it is not adopted as chassis clearance here.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- The page’s percentage improvements are manufacturer laboratory comparisons against EBO SE, not independent speed or reliability measurements.
- The phrase “9cm Ground Clearance” appears beside an under-furniture claim; its meaning is ambiguous, so no chassis clearance figure is adopted.
- No observed docking success rate, intervention count or internet-loss recovery result is available.
