Energize Lab lists touch and vibration reactions, interaction with other Eiliks, a timer and games. It describes content updates through its update tool.
Source 1Energize Lab Eilik
A small expressive desk companion for games and touch reactions. It suits playful interaction; optional AI Station features belong to the extra accessory, not the basic robot.

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.
Respond to the same supported prompt
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Repeat a supported interaction with another person

Restart and repeat the same interaction

Pick a square to see what each attempt will record.
We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.

What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Touch-triggered desktop reactions. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. Standard Eilik and AI Station are different propositions. Animated reactions do not establish emotional understanding.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
EnergizeLab’s dated update tutorial describes connecting standard Eilik by USB-C to a Windows or macOS computer and using its update tool with a stable network. Actual compatibility and future support are untested.
Source 2The separately sold AI Station is marketed for conversation and camera-based features and requires an Eilik; the store says Eilik is sold separately. Do not assume those station features are built into the standard robot.

Every source keeps its original check date. Manufacturer information, research configurations and independent observations have different limits.

Meet Energize Lab Eilik

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
The practical questions are how quickly its interactions become repetitive, how noisy it is on a desk, and whether updates and battery service remain straightforward. Those points need owner testing and current support terms. The listed runtime is a maker figure, not our measured result. The manufacturer’s 2023 update instructions require a computer, USB-C cable and network; confirm support for the actual computer and edition. The separate AI Station has its own camera, data handling, price and terms that require review before purchase.
Support, software and repairs
Use the Eilik update tool and the manufacturer’s support route for firmware and faults. Eilik and Eiliko are different products; do not use the newer product’s specifications here. Confirm warranty coverage, charging lead requirements and whether repairs or battery replacement are available in your country.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- No independent behavioural or battery test assessed.
- Standard Eilik and AI Station capabilities remain separate.
- Price, current regional warranty and battery-service terms are not verified.
