Kepler claims one-hour charging and eight-hour endurance; workload, configuration and test conditions are not established in the retained extract.
Source 1Kepler Forerunner K2
A humanoid for industrial and research projects. It suits technical teams; basic and development versions differ, and a buyer still needs task-specific setup and checks.
Recorded specifications, with their source limits. These are not our measurements. See all specifications and configurations

Three proposed tasks. Ten attempts at each suitable task, with the outcome, time and human help recorded. Confirm the exact robot, software and safe setup first. These tasks are not evidence that this robot can do them.
Complete one documented movement or manipulation task
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Repeat the task from the same starting setup
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Record all help needed to start and finish
Proposed task. 0 of 10 attempts run.
Pick a square to see what each attempt will record.
We will record the outcome, time, control mode, human help, safety stops, exact hardware and software, conditions and full video.
Proposed attempt; not run Only proceed if the exact unit supports the task and the setup is suitable. Keep remote control, scripted operation and autonomous operation separate. A completed attempt alone does not prove autonomy. What each square will show
Keep the conditions visible
Name the control mode, surface, object or prompt and every intervention. Ten attempts are an initial result, not proof of long-term reliability.

Capability and readiness are separate. These written findings are not a numerical rating or a physical test.

What can it actually do?
The specific maker claims and any independent observations are listed below. We have not run our own task tests on this robot.
Read the source-based assessmentReadiness
Could you use it in real life?
Intended use: Configured humanoid handling. Dependable everyday use has not been established by the evidence reviewed. A dated Bumblebee price does not price every K2. Development and basic configurations need separate task evidence.
Read the source-based assessmentThis is a research profile based on the sources below, not a hands-on test. Maker claims remain attributed to the maker; they do not prove repeatable performance in your home or workplace.
02 / Can it actually do it?
The claims, with their context.
The wording below keeps each source’s limits. A demonstration, a maker’s claim and a repeatable real-world result are different things.
A September 2025 Kepler press release says K2 Bumblebee had entered mass production and customer shipments. It does not establish delivery of the exact Forerunner K2 configuration or routine task success.
Source 3The cached configuration sheet distinguishes a 30-DoF Basic version from 52-DoF Bipedal and Wheeled Development versions. Dexterous hands and development access are not universal. Confirm the current configuration directly before reusing this matrix.

Model detail
Specifications and configuration
Figures below retain their source and configuration limits. Manufacturer specifications are not independent performance results.
175 cm, manufacturer figure; configuration attribution requires confirmation
Source 1K2 uses a hybrid serial/parallel arrangement with roller-screw linear and rotary actuators, according to Kepler’s release.
Manufacturer sourceManufacturer-issued release claims production and customer deliveries; this is not independent confirmation of a specific order.

Meet Kepler Forerunner K2
Kepler calls this the Forerunner K2. The retained manufacturer extract describes a humanoid platform; exact version equipment needs direct verification. Kepler also uses K2 Bumblebee in a 2025 announcement; whether this is the same configuration or a later revision needs confirmation. The cached page shows both 75 kg and 135 kg figures without a reliably retained mapping; neither is used as a whole-family weight.

04 / Living with it
Right robot, right expectations.
What ownership could involve
A buyer should obtain an exact configuration and software bill of materials, task-specific integration and commissioning requirements, control and supervision mode, emergency-stop and safe operating procedures, spare parts, battery servicing, warranty, update support, data handling, pricing and regional delivery terms. An industrial platform may need a trained robotics team and controlled work area; those requirements have not been verified for a particular sale. The cached sheet lists different warranty periods and optional on-site training/support. Obtain current written terms and confirm who commissions the chosen bipedal or wheeled unit; a headline price does not establish that service package.
Support, software and repairs
Kepler’s product route returned a JavaScript-only shell during this check. The retained release does not settle the full K2 numerical datasheet, battery servicing, SDK access or warranty. Obtain those for K2 specifically and do not use K1 figures. Its factory footage can illustrate the model but does not prove a UK support network or readiness for home use.
Questions still open
What needs checking before you decide.
- No current configuration-specific price or UK supply verified. The September 2025 company release quoted RMB 248,000 for K2 Bumblebee; this is a dated commercial claim, not a current delivered quote.
- K2 Bumblebee naming and revision relationship require manufacturer confirmation.
- No footage directly reviewed; no task grade assigned.
- This platform is intended for factory and research use, rather than ordinary households.
