Gausium Phantas vs PUDU CC1: which fits your site?

Concetto illustrazione Gausium Phantas vs PUDU CC1: which fits your site?.

Immaginato robotica concept art. Non mostra un'installazione reale o un prodotto produttore approvato.

Gausium Phantas and PUDU CC1 both offer several floor-cleaning modes, but the useful choice depends on access, the cleaning method and the service equipment included. Phantas publishes compact access dimensions. CC1 lists larger water tanks. Neither fact, on its own, establishes which machine will finish your building better.

This comparison covers the standard Phantas and CC1 using manufacturer information checked on 5 November 2026. It is a buying guide, not a hands-on review. For a wider shortlist, browse our commercial cleaning robot collection.

Start by fixing the exact model

Write the full model and supplied configuration at the top of each quotation. PUDU's CC1 Pro page describes features including a rear camera for monitoring cleaning results. Do not assume those features are part of a standard CC1 offer.

There is a similar distinction within Gausium's current Phantas product page: its spot-cleaning section specifically names Phantas Extra. Ask which hardware and software edition a proposed feature belongs to. A family page or demonstration may cover more than the unit being quoted.

Request a dated specification and a list of enabled functions. Where a feature is promised for a future update, leave it outside the purchase justification until its availability and suitability are confirmed.

Published specifications that affect the working day

The figures below come from Gausium's Phantas specification and PUDU's CC1 product page. They are manufacturer figures, not results of a common test.

Item Gausium Phantas PUDU CC1
Clean / waste water tanks 11.5 / 10.5 litres 15 / 15 litres
Scrubbing runtime Up to 4.5 hours 5 hours listed
Charging time Approximately 2 hours Under 3 hours
Published coverage rate 350–700 m²/h, labelled practical cleaning efficiency 700–1,000 m²/h, labelled cleaning efficiency

Do not use these coverage ranges to declare CC1 faster. The pages do not establish matching floors, cleaning settings, obstacles or inspection standards. Likewise, a larger tank does not translate directly into a known extra area: water use, soil level and repeat passes matter.

For a two-hour cleaning window, ask each supplier to work backwards from the same required finish and accessible area. Include travel to the service point and any intervention. That produces a useful comparison of completed work rather than a race between brochure figures.

Floor type: check the equipment behind each mode

Gausium describes Phantas as combining vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing and dust mopping. PUDU lists the same broad set for CC1, but explicitly says its soft-carpet vacuuming assembly is a separate purchase.

For a building with carpeted rooms and a hard-floor entrance, provide a marked floor plan. Ask the supplier to identify the fitted brushes, pads, vacuuming equipment and any changeover work for each zone. Have them explain how wet cleaning is kept away from surfaces that must remain dry.

A four-mode headline does not tell you whether your team must swap an assembly between jobs. Ask to see the complete changeover, including storage and cleaning of the removed parts. Add that time to the daily routine before deciding that one robot can cover both tasks.

Space and access: measure the route and the service area

Gausium lists Phantas at 585 × 445 × 619 mm, with minimum pass width and height of 650 mm. Its stated scrubbing width is 330 mm, compared with 465 mm for vacuuming or sweeping. Those are different measurements: the cleaning width is not the space the machine needs to travel.

For CC1, obtain the offered unit's dimensional drawing and clearance requirements rather than borrowing numbers from a CC1 Pro listing. For either model, check turning space, door approaches, thresholds and access beneath furniture with the supplier.

A narrow straight passage can be passable while a turn into it is not. Mark both on the plan. Also reserve space for staff to open tanks, remove consumables and approach the dock without obstructing ordinary access routes.

Water and charging: specify the complete station

Gausium describes an optional Phantas workstation for charging and water management, with a compatible mobile water tank. PUDU separately lists a charging station and a docking-station-plus-mobile-water-station arrangement for CC1; its workstation series is purchased separately.

Ask for the station's exact part reference and installation requirements. A charger alone should not be budgeted as if it also handles fresh and dirty water. If a mobile tank is proposed, establish who fills it, empties it and cleans it, and where that work happens.

During a demonstration, follow one full service cycle: the robot returns, receives the required service and becomes ready for its next job. Record any steps carried out off-camera or by a technician. Automatic docking can reduce particular tasks without removing daily care.

Gausium Phantas price vs PUDU CC1 price in the UK

The manufacturer pages reviewed do not provide a complete delivered UK package price. We therefore cannot establish a reliable price winner from those sources. UK stock, delivery dates and local support remain unconfirmed until a supplier provides a written offer.

Request separate lines for the robot edition, floor-care accessories, station, delivery, commissioning, training, software and service. Keep VAT treatment consistent and identify recurring charges. Our robot ownership-cost guide explains how to compare the whole package.

For support, ask who handles faults at your postcode, which consumables are available, who performs maintenance and how cleaning continues during downtime. Distinguish an initial response from an engineer visit or a completed repair.

Which one should make your shortlist?

  • Investigate Phantas where access is a constraint. Its published access dimensions give you concrete measurements to check against the site. Require a demonstration of the actual turns and cleaning finish.
  • Investigate CC1 where water servicing drives the routine. Its larger listed tanks are worth evaluating, with the correct station and floor-care accessories included.
  • Keep both under consideration for mixed-floor work. Decide from the supplied configuration, changeover effort and accepted cleaning result, not the number of advertised modes.

Once the configurations are clear, use our commercial cleaning robot trial checklist to compare them on the same task. The stronger choice is the package that repeatedly delivers the required finish within your cleaning window and has a workable support arrangement.
