Explore Robodromo’s desk assessments of 200 robots. We separate documented functions, human assistance, readiness and evidence gaps. These are not overall scores or a ranking.

How to read these assessments

Manufacturer documentation, demonstrations and independent reports answer different questions. A robot can be useful with human control, and a research platform can be suitable for specialists. Neither should be mistaken for a ready-made autonomous household helper.

Reviewed 31 October 2026 using previously collected sources. Older evidence is labelled below. We have not physically tested these robots, and the source material has not been freshly rechecked for this publication. Availability, support and software can change. Missing evidence means unknown, not failure.

CASBOT 02 is a full-size bipedal robot offered in Standard and EDU configurations. CASBOT claims walking, interaction and navigation functions, but no task performance or dependable household use has been independently assessed here. The Standard and EDU feature lists differ materially.
Human help and setup
Specialist setup is not a negative grade. The material gap is whether the documented system, software and support enable the intended experiment.
What remains uncertain
General navigation promotion is not equivalent to Standard-edition availability; table marks navigation only for EDU. Listed payload, speed and endurance lack test conditions and do not establish a dependable task. Safety, operator intervention, service support and data processing remain unverified. The product headline lists at least 37 degrees of freedom while its table states 25 body degrees excluding dexterous hands; the relationship and hand configuration require clarification.
Readiness
Intended use: Walking and edition-specific navigation. This retained record does not yet establish dependable use for the intended audience. Standard must not inherit EDU navigation or development access. Body and hand DOF boundaries need clarification.

Judge the tactile interaction, not chores or wellness claims. Resolve changing finish and accessory specifications separately.

What the evidence describes
Moflin belongs in the companion section: its appeal is touch, sound and expressive movement. Judge it on the quality of that interaction and the effort of ownership, not on whether it can perform household chores. Casio’s wellness language is a manufacturer claim, not proof of a health outcome.
Human help and setup
Assess charging, setup and any network/service help separately from the interaction itself. Expressive behaviour is not emotional understanding.
What remains uncertain
No independent interaction trial assessed here. No therapeutic efficacy grade assigned. Bed dimensions conflict within the maker page; pink is absent from older specification blocks.
Readiness

Desk assessment: 31 October 2026. Source-check dates: 2026-10-27, 2026-10-31.

The old preorder wording conflicts with later site terms. Neither establishes fulfilment or tested household skills.

What the evidence describes
Clone describes Alpha as a limited-edition home android and lists household skills, but those claims have not been assessed here. The current site terms say preorder functionality is unavailable, despite the product page's 2025 preorder wording.
Human help and setup
The supplied system and operating arrangements are not sufficiently established for a dependable-use conclusion. A reservation or announcement is not a trial result.
What remains uncertain
Household skills are maker claims, not observed tasks. A 2025 preorder statement and later site terms refer to different dates; neither establishes active ordering or delivery today.
Readiness
Intended use: Proposed household tasks. This retained record does not yet establish dependable use for the intended audience. The old preorder wording conflicts with later site terms. Neither establishes fulfilment or tested household skills.

Documented cliff-sensor limits matter. Research-companion positioning does not establish therapeutic or unattended-pet suitability.

What the evidence describes
An animal-shaped mobile platform for teaching and companion-robot research. Its useful distinction is programmable expressive behaviour; it is not established here as a supported everyday pet or therapeutic device. The maker still displays a sold-out notice.
Human help and setup
Programming, supervised trials and maintenance may be part of the intended learning use; exact kit instructions govern handling.
What remains uncertain
The specification warns that light, objects and reverse movement can defeat cliff sensing. Do not treat sensors as proof it cannot drive off an edge. The technical specification says its Gazebo simulation omits some physical input and output functions at the time described; simulated performance cannot validate the physical robot. Earlier research notes mention other mass figures; identify and compare their original source and revision before calling this a confirmed conflict.

What the evidence describes
A proposed wheeled family companion with projection and conversation. Its reservation expressly does not guarantee delivery and the legal manufacturer needs checking.
Human help and setup
The supplied system and operating arrangements are not sufficiently established for a dependable-use conclusion. A reservation or announcement is not a trial result.
What remains uncertain
Industrialisation and reservation are reported by the product site; no shipping or completed production verified. No independent evaluation of movement, projection, conversation, privacy or home monitoring. Exact hardware revision, UK availability and after-sales support unverified. The site’s broad local/no-cloud language and its Mistral conversation processing need clarification; do not assume all conversation content stays local.

The remote human service is central, not hidden assistance. Assess operators, communications, scope and contracts separately from hardware.

What the evidence describes
A home-care robot platform designed to combine remote human operation with AI. Its practical value depends on the human service and the tasks actually supported, not an assumption of full autonomy.
Human help and setup
Consent, staff/family support and a clear fallback matter. A robot interaction or reminder does not establish a clinical outcome or emergency service.
What remains uncertain
No clinical benefit, emergency response or safety performance was independently assessed. Exact service contract, operator arrangements, country support, cost and hardware generation remain unknown. Household task demonstrations must record whether a person teleoperated the robot. The company’s home-test account reports operator involvement; do not transfer those activities to unaided autonomous performance.

Assess Air 2 Plus itself; Max storage and wake-word features do not transfer. A camera feed is not an emergency service.

What the evidence describes
A candidate for mobile home check-ins and two-way communication. The useful comparison is with other camera robots: whether it reaches the right place, maintains a call and returns safely. Marketing about protection should not be read as a tested security or emergency-response guarantee.
Human help and setup
A remote human may be central to the service. Navigation, charging and alerts need separate checks; no emergency response is implied.
What remains uncertain
No independent task or navigation trial assessed. Max memory and voice-wake claims do not transfer to Air 2 Plus. Current country-specific price, stock and subscription terms remain unverified. The larger feature list does not establish dependable fall detection or a human response when an alert occurs.

What the evidence describes
Max is worth tracking as a home camera robot with more elaborate interaction and navigation claims. The key question is whether those additions improve everyday use. A feature list cannot establish dependable fall detection or make the robot a substitute for a person who can respond.
Human help and setup
A remote human may be central to the service. Navigation, charging and alerts need separate checks; no emergency response is implied.
What remains uncertain
No medical or emergency-response reliability conclusion. Manufacturer multimodal-AI wording does not establish general-purpose autonomy. Max storage figures must not be mixed with another model’s headline specification. The Max-specific FAQ describes peer-to-peer live video and memory-card recording; this is not an independent privacy audit or evidence that all data processing is local.

What the evidence describes
Mini is a simpler candidate for home and pet check-ins. Keep its page focused on the base model. Buying a cheaper variant is meaningful only if the missing features are clear; Mini Sport’s recognition and motor claims must not silently appear on Mini’s page.
Human help and setup
A remote human may be central to the service. Navigation, charging and alerts need separate checks; no emergency response is implied.

Maker comparisons against SE do not measure SE 2 reliability independently. Resolve the unclear clearance wording.

What the evidence describes
A mobile camera for checking rooms and interacting remotely with pets or family. Its value depends on whether it can reach the places you want to see and return to charge in your actual home. Treat autonomy and security alerts as functions to test, not proof of dependable supervision.
Human help and setup
A remote human may be central to the service. Navigation, charging and alerts need separate checks; no emergency response is implied.
What remains uncertain
The page’s percentage improvements are manufacturer laboratory comparisons against EBO SE, not independent speed or reliability measurements. The phrase “9cm Ground Clearance” appears beside an under-furniture claim; its meaning is ambiguous, so no chassis clearance figure is adopted. No observed docking success rate, intervention count or internet-loss recovery result is available.

Planned pet-following is not a released feature. Monitoring and medication alerts require their own validation.

What the evidence describes
EBO X combines a mobile camera with mapping, remote communication and claimed monitoring functions. It is worth comparing as a home telepresence product. The evidence here does not establish that its alerts can reliably detect emergencies or replace a person checking on someone.
Human help and setup
A remote human may be central to the service. Navigation, charging and alerts need separate checks; no emergency response is implied.
What remains uncertain
The FAQ’s old planned pet-following language is not confirmation of a released feature. No independent validation of fall, distress or medication-related monitoring has been reviewed. Obstacle avoidance and edge sensing remain maker claims and do not establish a safe unattended route. China support privacy and connectivity statements are region-scoped, not proof for every international unit. Local facial-data storage does not mean all data stays local.

What the evidence describes
A remotely driven home and pet camera on wheels. It is distinct from EBO Mini and ROLA PetPal; the maker says it lacks automatic patrol and charging, which is important when judging its usefulness.
Human help and setup
A remote human may be central to the service. Navigation, charging and alerts need separate checks; no emergency response is implied.

The explicit lack of fall prevention is a material deployment limit. Module-dependent play is not dependable feeding or supervision.

What the evidence describes
PetPal’s useful role is remote pet interaction, with functions that depend on the fitted module. The most important limit is explicit: the maker says it has no fall prevention. It is a candidate for controlled floor-level use, not a substitute for dependable feeding or animal supervision.
Human help and setup
Owner setup and rescue requirements need measuring. Pet interaction is not reliable feeding, animal supervision or a welfare outcome.
What remains uncertain
The retained PetPal FAQ was supplied by the search index; a fresh direct request redirected to a Japanese store dominated by other models. Current wording still needs a directly readable manual or support page. Cloud-plan prices and feature columns were not adopted from the flattened extract because the tier mapping requires verification. Neither pet recognition accuracy nor treat delivery reliability has been independently assessed. Maker says no fall prevention and no designated-route patrol. Base storage module does not provide the separate treat or toy functions. UK listing has an unresolved starred unavailability warning; do not promise these functions in a UK offer.

Human decisions with AI correction are the intended mode, not a deficient version of autonomy. Assess task and communications performance.

What the evidence describes
Honda is developing a robot through which a person can work remotely, assisted by AI. Its central distinction is human decision-making: it should not be presented as an autonomous home worker.
Human help and setup
Specialist setup is not a negative grade. The material gap is whether the documented system, software and support enable the intended experiment.
What remains uncertain
Human-guided action with AI corrections is not autonomous task selection. The MANUS account calls the hand degrees of freedom active, while Honda describes 11 motors and 16 joints; do not equate these counts. No footage was watched; a supplier description cannot establish trial success rate or repeated reliability.
Readiness

Device behaviour and clinical outcomes are separate questions. Match the supplied revision and staff training to the manual.

What the evidence describes
PARO deserves a carefully bounded care-companion profile. Its physical interaction is a different question from whether a particular care programme benefits its participants. This draft establishes a research route for the device, not a treatment recommendation or a clinical result.
Human help and setup
Consent, staff/family support and a clear fallback matter. A robot interaction or reminder does not establish a clinical outcome or emergency service.
What remains uncertain
An updated distributor manual was reviewed on 31 October 2026. The exact revision currently supplied, training arrangements and regional warranty still need confirmation. No clinical outcome or general suitability conclusion is made. No clinical outcome, regulatory status or general suitability conclusion is made. Dimensions and runtime from an unidentified manual revision are not promoted to current specifications. Fresh direct requests for the PARO maintenance/contact pages timed out and its homepage failed. Search visibility is not confirmation of current unit supply, maintenance terms or generation. The manual cover does not establish whether MCR-A888 identifies a robot or another item; an adapter listing is a secondary lead only, not a verified classification.
